My cat is almost a year old and has barely grown at all, her brother is the size of a small dog. Is she alright?
We think she may be losing weight, but she still eats as much as the other cats(We have 6 cats total). She has not been fixed yet, we want to take her to the vet but we cannot afford it quite yet.

She could just be small compared to her brother but if she is losing weight or very skinny (bones sticking out and no muscles) then something serious could be going on. See if your vet will see her now but let you pay in installments so sheyou can make sure she is ok. She may just need worming but it's best to make sure she is ok and gets any treatment she needs before she loses a lot of weight and gets really sick. If money is tight check out your local SPCA or other rescues as they often have great deals and are much cheaper than a spay at the vet. Make sure to get her checked first though as the low cost spay/neuter clinics don't do vet checks first and she may not be well enough to be spayed at the moment.

Female cats are usually, but not always, smaller than males. Also, factor in the possibility that they may have different fathers, even if they are from the same litter. As for losing weight, occasionally checking your cats' weight at home is a good practice. Either buy a baby scale, or weigh yourself, first without Kitty and then with, and you'll get a rough idea of how much she weighs, and whether she is losing weight or not. Some cats are just smaller and skinnier than others, but losing weight is never a good sign, and is more common in older cats rather than younger ones. Try to find a way to get a vet check and a spay. Hope everything works out.
