My cat is almost 9 months old and he is a big boy. He's really tall and active still growing. How big can he get?

To echo the words of my favorite vet, "As big as he wants to get". Izzie was already a big kitten at 12 weeks when I rescued him and although he slowed down after a while, he now tips the scales at 15-17 pounds. Depending on what breeds are sitting on the branches of your cat's family tree (Izzie is a Maine Coon mix and they can weigh in at 25 pounds), he could be the same way. Feed him the best food you can afford and make sure he gets in lots of playtime with those he loves and on his own.

My experience is they're usually done growing after two years but can be up to five before they're done filling out.
