Hello:

Who knows how cats see the world. Try putting her feeding station in your bed room. She might work it out herself while you are gone.

Do not move her litter box.

You could try shutting the door on her but I don't think that would help.

Somethin happened in your cats mind related to the bedroom. You may never know. Putting her food in there is your best bet.
