My cat is 16+ years old. I don't think she can chew the dry cat food. How much meat show be fed her? She is thin!

First you need to start with a visit to the vet. If your cat can't chew there could be a problem with her mouth. Also a cat of her age should have some bloodwork done. Older cats are at risk of developing hyperthyroidism, diabetes, kidney problems or hypertension...any of which left untreated could have devastating effects.
Meat alone can't "fix" your cat. Your vet needs to determine what, if anything is wrong and then properly treat it. Please schedule an appt. asap

I would use dry kitten food like Royal Canin Kitten from PetSmart and suppliment the dry food with a wet food once daily. Dry kitten food has very small pieces that adult cats can just swallow. Kitten food is also high in carbs which will put some weight on her. Good luck.

Don't jump to people food! That can cause all sorts of problems for her. Start with a trip to your vet and offer her some canned for in the interim.
