My cat has the runs and was dragging his butt across the floor. Is there something I can do to help him feel better?

Yes, take him to his vet. Diarrhea is not normal and he's probably dragging his behind because he has infected anal glands, which are glands that animals have on either side of their anal openings. These glands can become infected and imapacted like a wisdom tooth and feel like a very sore hemmorhoid. The doctor can empty them, clean him up and give him a short course of antibiotics in case the infection has spread. You also need to find out what the cause of his diarrhea is. Small animals like cats can become dehydrated very quickly and what could be an easy "fix" now could turn out to not be so easy if you let it go.

Yes, take him to the vet for treatment. It's that easy.
