MY CAT HAS HAD DIARRHEA FOR A MONTH OR SO NOW.

SHE IS ALMOST 17 SO I AM WONDERING IF IT IS JUST HER AGE OR ANOTHER ISSUE?

Take her to the vet asap!

I agree with Tinkerbell. Your cat needs to see the vet. Continuous diarrhea will cause her to become dehydrated and malnourished and it needs to be treated. It may be something as simple as an intestinal parasite which is easy to treat. Chronic diarrhea is not normal at any age.

I would take her to the vet to check out for any health issues.

Have you changed her food lately? Has there been any changes in her life - new home, new litter, new pet / child added to family? etc. Some cats do not take well to change.
Are you feeding her a grain based diet? I have a cat that had chronic diarrhea for years on commercial pet food (with grains). I recently put him on a raw food diet and it completely cleared up. Now if I feed him canned food it is grain free and he does fine....
