my cat has been acting weird the past couple days. his backside twitches but he is still eating but not using his litter

he had a piece of tape on his tail and i think it hurt his tail. he would bite at it and would flinch or jump when you touched it. i can now touch his tail but he is still acting wierd. he will eat if you bring it to him and he wont use his litter? could his tail still be bothering him or is it something else?

Something is very wrong and your cat needs to see a vet ASAP. I wouldn't wait til after the holiday weekend. Find a 24 hour emergency center and have him examined. I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but we are not vets here - only people who love cats. And no one can diagnose or treat your cat over the internet. Please take your cat to a vet ASAP. Good luck, and hope he feels better soon!

he might be ok. still take him to the vet to make sure he does not have a bladder infection. but from what your saying it sounds like hes trying to spray. is he nutered? the " twitch " of the tail is a sign he is trying to spray his hormones to say " this is mine ".

He wight have swallowed the black tape and it came out the other end DO NOT PULL IT OUT!
