My cat has 1 Bald patch on his chest! Please help, unsure if he is injured?

Hi, my 13yo cat has a bald patch on his chest. It felt really dry. Now he has ripped the dry layer of it and it is red, with some blood and looks a little swollen. What could it be? He seems fine otherwise, eating ect. Just wondering what it is?

I'm no expert, but it is probably just a bit of mange, or, maybe, just lots of dry skin. You should probably contact your local veterenarian, so you can get him some medication or ointment to soothe it. Good Luck!

It could be from several things. He may have scratched at it and turned a small spot into a larger patch. If it is still red and dry, I recommend using PETfection Deodorizer/Allergy Spray or their Hot Spots/Wound Spray. Both are 100% Organic and non-toxic and work really well at getting rid of dry, raw, and red spots. I love their stuff!
