my cat Doodlebug loves to be in the shower with me! she sits on the side of the tub and watches!

she started doing this a few months ago. she really is cute when she does it.when I come out,she licks the water off of my feet! It doesn't bother me,but I just wonder if other people have had their kitties do this?

I watch Mom take a shower and sometimes get into the tub with her. I haven't gotten to lick her feet yet because she's usually moving so fast after her shower. HMMM. Have to think about how do do that.

Mom says Steinem also used to get in the shower with her (or anybody else who took a shower at her house).

My kitty Monkey sits in between the shower curtain and the shower liner, and every so often a paw or a head sticks out to investigate. It's very cute!

Several of mine do it. Bailey & Lucy will sit on the top of the toilet at the far end and pull the curtain back with a paw and peek at me. Allie sits on the floor and pops her head under the curtain to take a peek. But most of them have learned the hard way not to sit on the edge of the tub between the curtain and the liner because it's no fun when you fall in. My kitten Piper came crashing in last week and getting wet scared the daylights out of her! In her moment of panic she didn't know how to get back out. Yikes!! Then ALL of them have to come in when I am done and investigate the wet tub. They are so funny. It's like a luxury when I close the bathroom door all the way and I get to shower without peeping toms and step out on to a cat free bath mat and use a towel without any kitties grabbing at it for fun. LOL

Izadore (Izzie)

All my animals will come into the bathroom with me no matter what I'm "doing" in there. If I close the door they bark, whine, meow and/or scratch at the door to be let in. I've assured them that there is no back door in our bathroom and I'm not climbing out the window. I'm coming out the same way I went in. Izzie will sit on the edge of the tub (great balance!) and watch me splash and scrub. He also watches the water swirl in the potty like he might see his future told in there. He sits outside the shower and then when I come out, he goes in and doesn't mind getting dripped on. Isn't it great when our animals think we're so wonderful they can't leave us alone for a minute? LOVE your kitty's name, btw! Purrs and kisses from all of us here at The Zoo!

My cat Ivy has always loved shower-time. She sits on the toilet next to the shower and patiently waits. Afterwards, she likes to go into the shower and investigate. When she was younger, she would slide all over the tub. :)

yes, i was wondering the same thing.... it is so cute to open the curtain when i'm done to see him sitting there waiting for me on the toilet... he then meows, and starts licking my feet, and rolling himself all over my feet .... then just lays there and i feel so guilty when i have to move...

it seems like he's just so happy i got out of there safely.
