My cat ate a shead snake skin is this normal for cats?

My brother took the snake skin and threw it out and the Cat was eating it. Is this unhealthy?

My cats like to play with my snakes shed skins and chew on them and bat them around. Shed snakeskins are usually fragile and tend to get torn apart when cats play with them. Occasionally I've seen one of the cats eat a little bit of the shed snakeskin. The shed snakeskin shouldn't hurt your cat at all.

Uno is probably right. However, if the skin came from a poisonous snake, it could not go well for her. Keep and eye on her and if she begins vomiting or acting weird, get her to the vet.
