I don't know what "upset" consists of, but your cat is most likely playing with you. Cats are most active in early morning and late evening. Take a few minutes to play hard with your cat using fishing pole-type toys or a laser point. Then he'll leave your hand alone and you can go to bed.

I can get jealous of mommys iPad or laptop and I lay on her hands or bat at them. I just want more attention and to play though. I'm the jealous type =^.^=
