Are you sure she didn't get into something? cats, like people, usually don't deteriorate so quickly without a reason, though 15 is old for a cat. I can understand you concern as you've had her your whole life. Maybe you could get her to eat some chicken flavor baby food (you know, the stuff human babies eat) we have a local pet clinic that feeds that to it's worse off kitties. Wishing and praying you all the best.

I'm so sorry. Can't you take her to the vet? She needs to be seen ASAP--maybe something can be done for her. Maybe your local ASPCA/Humane Society/shelter(s) would have info on where to get a vet fast, and on cheap care if you can't afford it. Hope that something can be done for your kitty.

I feel so bad for you..and your kitty. What do your parents say? You need them right now to help you with your kitty. We'll keep you all in our prayers.

Call the vet, describe the symptoms. Look up a 24 hour vet clinic in the yellow pages - they will tell you what to do to help your pet until you can get her to the vet. Call your parents. Call a relative. Call a friend's parents if no one else can be reached. Whatever it takes, get that cat to a vet ASAP!!!!

She would need vet care, regardless of what exactly is her health problem. If she is not eating and barely moving, something is very wrong. If I were you I would plead with your parents to go to a vet. If they say they can't or won't, ask a trusted adult to help you take her. I'm sorry, I wish we could do more, but a vet is really who can give you an answer.
