As the other poster asked, Is this an unusual behavior? If not, then I wouldnt be worried, somedays they drink water more than usual based on the weather conditions etc. Am not sure if you had quite a hot day when you noticed this. But if this is unusual, I would first suggest you to call your Vet and check with them if bringing her in is absolutely necessary. They might ask you more questions to get more clarity of the situation to assess the need.
My cat she urinates 3 to 4 times in a 24hr period but she is in perfect health. So there might be nothing wrong with her after all. So dont get alarmed, just check with your Vet and you will have peace of mind. Take care.

Is this more drinking/peeing than normal for her?

Could be kidney disease, diabetes, or a UTI. Seniors are supposed to get twice yearly wellness checks, I would take her in and ask to have her tested for all three.

I would get to a vet. Excessive drinking/urination may be a symptom of diabetes, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism or another problem.
