Usually every weekend I stay at my boyfriends place which is an hour away from me. I leave my cat with at least three bowls of water and two bowls of food. I feel guilty leaving him alone and I wonder if he gets lonely.

Your kitten likes to have company every once in a while but with cats you can leave them alone every once in a while so I wouldn't worry about it.Just make sure that your kitty has a clean litter box, plenty of food and water, and when I leave my cat for a day or two, I leave out a couple of her favorite toys and give her a treat before you leave.Kitty's LOVE treats!!!!!!!!Hope this helps-Licorice

That is the beauty of cats. You CAN leave them alone. As long as you are leaving food, water and a clean litterbox he will be fine. I am sure he does miss you but as long as he has some windows he can look out of and you give him plenty of loving when you get home, he will be fine. I usually find mine all lined up at the door waiting for me when they hear the car so I know they did notice my absence but they are fine. If I am gone more than one night, I ask a friend to stop by and make sure everybody is fine and that the bowls are re-filled with water and food.
