My 2 year old cat has allergies and a very sensitive digestive system. I tried adding turkey slowly (like 6 pieces for every 1/4 cup of dry tuna) and she has been throwing up after every meal the food for the past 2 weeks). She loves the fish and can tolerate it but.... I am worried about the long term affects of her eating it daily...I read it can lead to a shorter life and hyperthyroidism. Please help with my dilemma. My next resort is to go to the vet...Thank you! :)

Spend a few minutes researching cat nutrition you'll find out how to read the deceptive ingredient labels on cat food. For example an old shoe is78% protein. But you can't digest a shoe. Look for high digestabity, low ash and magnesium for starters. If you're lazy but care get science diet or Iams. Cats can't crunch dry food so sometimes they swallow it whole it swells and it turns out to be too much volume and they barf. Wet dry food with water and give fresh daily
