I think there is something wrong with my cat but I don't know what it is.

It looks like there is a cut on his tounge and his lip is swollen. I think he has a bump on his chest but it could be nothing. He has started drooling recently. I haven't seen him eat or drink anything but I haven't been home alot. He also cries when I pick him up. He is an inside/outside cat. I don't have any money to take him to a vet please help, I just want to know what's wrong.

It sounds like your kitty got hurt somehow. These are the hazards of having a cat go outside. He is hurting and needs to go to a vet ASAP. You can call around to different vets or the humane society or low cost vet care. Maybe you can make monthly payments. Your kitty is counting on you to take care of him. Vets won't turn away a sick cat. Please call around and find one that will work with you.

sorry but you must take him to a vet. Here in the UK our vets can give you a payment plan where you pay so much each month until you have paid the bill. I surmise that you are in the USA. Did you know that it against the law to not provide vetinary care if your animal needs it. They can take your cat away from you and prosecute you and you will have to go to court. The law says that if you cant afford to care for your animal properly you shouldnt have it. You must have an animal charity in your state, if you phone a vet they should be able to tell you what is available and where. Again you must take you cat to a vet, it is cruel not to have him treated, he may have been hit by a car and have internal injuries.
