If these cats are feral (wild) then the only way you can catch them is to trap them. But first you have to have a place to take them. And, if they are feral, you will need help in emptying the traps. Feral cats can be vicious when trapped and could do a lot of damage to you if you try to empty the traps yourself. Most shelters are full of cats and kittens right now. If you are planning to trap, neuter and return the cats, then you can probably borrow a few "drop" traps from your local shelter or animal control officer. Use canned (wet) food and spread it over the back of the trap and some outside. Set up the trap in a quiet corner or under a bush. If you are feeding the cats, then more will keep showing up on your property and breeding. Even if you TNR these cats, you will continue to have a problem unless you do stop feeding. The cats you have now may chase the others away, but the current population, unless they're fixed, will continue to breed. Good luck!
