I'm not exactly sure what your question is. If your B/f is against getting the outside cat neutered, you're going to have to get "tough" with him and explain to him that the cat overpopulation in this country is so bad, hundreds of thousands of cats (kittens included) are put to death each DAY. And those are the lucky ones. The unlucky ones are collected and sold to research facillities or to people who run dog-fighting rings. It's difficult to explain to someone like your b/f that animals are not humans and when they are fixed, they don't miss those parts. You may have to "man-up" and just trap the cat (with the help of your local animal warden) and take him to be neutered. Pay for it yourself. Your b/f is being unreasonable. He is obviously uneducated on what happens to unaltered animals out there. Not only that, but your indoor male cat could contract diseases like FIV from this cat if he's bitten. You may have to handle this one on your own, my dear. B/f will get over it.
