To add to Guest's advice, I'd suggest that before you take this cat on, you contact your local humane shelter or rescue. While the cat seems friendly, if you try to pick her up to put her in a carrier to get her to the vet, you might be sorry. Are you certain she's spayed and unvaccinated? Spaying is hard to detect unless you find a spay scar on her belly. In any case, enlist the help of the experts at a rescue who can not only help you with this kitty, but just in case there are others, with those also. And, they can recommend a vet who can give you a reduced fee or perhaps treat for free since you're being kind enough to rescue this cat.
