You need to have your kitten checked by the vet. Fleas, ear mites, and allergies are three of a number of things that can cause a cat to scratch behind the ears and on the neck to the point where she will create raw sores from scratching so much.

Ear mites cannot always be seen by looking at the ears from the outside. They may be further down in the ear canal.

Your vet will be able to determine the cause of your kitten's itching and scratching and give her proper treatment so she stops the itch-scratch cycle and her skin heals. Good luck!
