i have a 6 year old male & he has always been able to jump onto counters with no problem. in the past few days he can't

He needs to be examined by a vet if he is no longer able to perform jumps to or from heights that are routine for him. He may have an injury that needs to be addressed. He may be in pain which is inhibiting his ability to jump. There are a number of different problems that could be causing his trouble, and taking him to a vet is the only way to get a diagnosis and help him. Please get him an appointment right away.
