Worms are common in multi-cat households. However, if all cats have been given deworming medicine (get it from your vet--you only have to do it once), they shouldn't be passing worms on to each other. (I'm assuming that you're talking abour roundworms, the most common parasite for felines.) Are your cats indoor only? If not, they are getting worms from outside. Go to your vet, get the meds, keep your cats indoors...and your problem will be solved.
Having said that, I made sure that Leila got dewormed before I had her give birth (we're a cattery here). Mother cats pass roundworms through their milk. I assume that your cats are desexed, so this is not a problem.
But....Go to your vet, get the pills, and keep your cats inside.
Sometimes you need to treat for worms more than once over a few months before the kitties are considered "cured". Also, make sure you are Frontline-ing your cats for fleas because fleas can cause worms. In addition, you need to get worming medication from your vet. If you are using petstore meds, that's why they aren't worm-free. Your vet can give you medication for the specific type of worms your kitties have because they test the kitties' poop to see what kind the worms are. If your kitties keep getting worms, then you definitely need to talk to your vet because in addition to the "yucky" factor of worms, a cat can actually die from a worm infestation if they get too bad.
