my kitten is 8 months old we feed her kitten and adult pretty much whatever our 2 way older cats are eating. i would say keep her on kitten food until 1year then slowly make the transition to adult food, we only feed my kitten mostly adult food because. she always chooses the adult food over kitten food. our other cats like to eat all her kitten food. so we basically feed her adult.

Kittens should eat kitten food until they are a year old. Their growing bodies and developing brains need the extra protein, fat and vitamins in kitten food.

When Princess had kittens, my vet advised me to feed kitten food to her while nursing and to the kittens until at least 1 year old, even better to 18 months.
