How can I prevent my 2 year old female fixed cat from constantly chewing up phone chargers?

We've used Bitter Yuck on other cords, but it's not an option on cords we handle daily, as the stuff gets on our hands and on us. She's destroyed 2 chargers this month, we punish, but never catch her in the act. How can we prevent or stop this behavior?

If you are not able to coat the chargers with either bitter tasting or strong smelling stuff, them consider providing your cat with an entertaining toy that will keep her busy while your away. Is it possible that the chargers can be put in a bathroom or bedroom, which can be made off-limits to kitty? Placing chargers in Tupperware containers or putting them somewhere kitty can't get them is also a good idea. If you give her some attention and play with her and the bad habit will most likely stop. If not, be sure to scold your cat and let her know it's wrong. Hope this helps :)
