Hi, about 5 months ago, I adopted a stray kitten who looked to be around 7-8 months old.

She was really malnutritioned, like she seemed to have an autoimmune disease all on her ears, like skin was peeling and everything. So I took care of her, bathed her etc. She is now okay pyshically.Within 2 months of having her we found out she was pregnant, the enter birth of four kittens went perfect. However now She is continusley meowing at nothing. Even if she doesnt see me, she keeps meowing. She seems really stressed out, unhappy and I dont know what to do to help her. She just walks around meowing, even when I let her outside, she just keeps on walking and meowing at nothing. What is wrong with her? I jsut feel really bad watching her in this state and its really stressing me out as a I am a great cat lover and I have already 4 cats of my own at home whom Ive never seen act like this. (She lives at my office- Only 4 people work there-She is used/knows us all). Please PLease help me!!

Chances are that your office cat has a giant case of postpartum depression. If her kittens aren't there, she's looking for them. She could also not be feeling well. If you've never had her to the vet, she needs to go. At the least, she needs to be spayed. Cats will sometimes behave like this because they don't feel well and they are trying to tell you.

She may also have gone into heat again, and if she continues to go outside unspayed, you'll end up with another litter. Please contact your local animal shelter to ask about low-cost spay/neuter options.
