She "threw up" a cuterebra??? Usually they emerge through a hole in the skin, so that seems kind of odd. They don't reproduce in the mammal host's body, but if she picked up one larvae she may have picked up more and they can be very dangerous if they travel to the wrong place and mature. They are also dangerous if they are damaged while they are in the process of emerging from the body as their insides can be very allergenic or if they leave some bug behind it can get infected. For all those reasons, and because your cat is having weird symptoms which unfortunately got cut off in your question, it would be wise to take her in to have your vet check her out. I had one a few years ago and it was so gross- you don't want to mess around with those things!
