Ideally you could hire an experienced pet sitter to take care of your kitty in your own house. Cats are very stressed in unfamiliar surroundings - he probably wouldn't be too happy at the PetSmart hotel, but if you can't find a pet sitter, that would be better. Don't recommend leaving him home alone for that length of time. If he gets sick or injured or stuck somewhere, he'll have no one to help him.

Do you have a trusted friend or family member that can come and watch your fur baby? Even an hour a day is good; Enough time to do litter, food/water, and give lovin's and scritches!

We all know some Cats are well adapted to surving on thier own, BUT that would come from experience, you have an indoor kitty, he/shes is used to having you around so it would be best not to leave him/her on thier own, previous replies give good advice
