Ever since I switched to the breeze litter system one of my cats randomly wets on dirty clothes. Why?

I have 4 cats(2 male, 2 female) and two breeze litter boxes. They have been using the breeze system for 7 months now. I switched to a dirty clothes basket they could not get in, but every now and then I use the old one. This has only happened about 5 times since the switch. I am very good about keeping their boxes clean and after each pad changing I wash out the bottom part. Also, the dirty clothes bin is no where near either one of their litter boxes.

Cats are very precise to their litter and they may not be used to the change. My cats dont like the bag litter, they prefer scoopable, even though its more expensive i buy it because id rather have happy cats then cats that decide to go out of the litter box. Also Cats are picky about who else uses their box, a vet once told me, have a box for every cat you have and sometimes an extra doesnt hurt, that way they can pick and choose. Plus the litter may be messing with the smell,not that it stinks to us, but it could to them.
