If you put it in a zipper bag in the freezer, you can keep it indefinitly

Argyll is right. If you grow your own, you need to hang it up until it's dry enough to crumble. Then put it in a bag and freeze it, or use an airtight container (and a cat proof one) and store it in the cupboard.

I keep mine hidden ad sealed at room temperature in a plastic bag, and they seem to like it whenever I sprinkle some on their scratchers! ^_^
