Does your kitten look vaguely like mine but asymmetrical? A picture would help. Does he perhaps look something like this? www.ragdoll.com

Your cat is not a seal colorpoint, it is a seal bicolor. White inverted Vs on the face and pink noses do not occur in colorpoint patterns.

While ragdoll colors develop until the age of 3 or 4, the colors darken over time but the overall pattern will remain the same. The mismark will probably stay very similar and unfortunately will not become symmetrical over time.

This is not an uncommon mismark but I have to ask if you do have a purebred ragdoll? Mismarks are more common in mixed breeds, and a reputable registered breeder would NEVER adopt a kitten out at 8 weeks of age.

If you bought your cat from a breeder, this is the sort of question you could ask him/her. If you bought it at a pet shop, the shop may or may not be able to give you any knowledgeable advice. If you got your cat without a pedigree or registration papers, in theory you can't really call it a Raddoll. I don't know much about Ragdolls, but if it is a mixed breed, then one would assume that variations could occur that would not be consistent with purebred Ragdoll breed standards.
