Aother Q: We have 2 other cats, that are fine. how do i feed cats together when tux needs his food?

I do make that Tux gets his Royal canin, hes been picky on what he eats and how he gets feed. The other cats eat 9lives can and 9lives dry UTI formula food. I put water in the dry food so if Tuxedo eat it, hope that its alright. I also was wondering if its alright to give he cat nip? Thanks, Bridgett

Feeding finicky cats is hard enough, but when they're on different foods, that certainly complicates the matter. Is there any way you can feed all three Royal Canin? I'm sure they make a UTI formula. That's the easy solution, but Tag's idea of feeding Tux in a separate room is also a good solution. That's what I do with my Springer Spaniel because if she eats in the same room with my Husky Shepherd, they get into fights. As far as the catnip goes, I don't see any reason why that would affect Tux in a bad way. The effects of 'nip only last about 10 minutes. And, although it hypes cats up, it's used to make tea for humans to calm us down, like chammomile tea. Of course, you can always ask your vet for their ok.

They make special kitty doors which will only open for the cat that wears the transmitter collar that comes with it. You can make or buy a cabinet to put Tux's food in and install the special kitty door in that . Or you could install the kitty door within the door to a separate room where you can feed Tux. I'm pretty sure Lowe's Hardware and most pet stores sell these. Good luck!
