Izadore (Izzie)

Izzie eats a lot too, but he's a 17lb. Maine Coon mix. That does seem like a lot for those babies to be eating! Is it kitten formula? Do you supplement with kitten formula wet food? I'm not a vet nor a veterinary dietician, but 3 cups a day seems excessive. I've learned that kittens will overeat when they have worms and almost all kittens do, so if they haven't been to the vet to be checked, it might not be a bad idea to take them and a stool sample. At that time, discuss their eating habits with the vet. There are higher fiber and higher protein food that they may benefit from. But before you experiment with their diets, make sure they have no health issues.

Former poster is absolutely right! These babies seems to be eating quite a lot. You need to feed them a high protein kitten (can) food. Dry kibble is high in carbs and not as filling. Also, a trip to the vet to check them for worms would be advisable. Best of luck. I'm sure they will be fine.
