1 year old calico has been itching and has spots of hair loss all over her body. Plus she has dirty ears.

All these symptoms started when a new cat was added to the family. Been to the vet 5 times 2 cortisone shots and one antibiotic shot.

Yikes! If you've been to the vet 5 times, your cat has dirty ears and she's still miserable, I'd say find a new vet! Ear problems can come from allergies and it sounds like that's what your kitty has. Has she been tested for ringworm? It's highly contagious and she may have contracted this from the new cat. It's also contagious to humans. Has the vet determined the cause of the hair loss and itching? Suggested a non-allergenic diet? If you don't want to change vets, you do need to have a heart-to-heart chat with them and ask for a diagnoses and treatment plan. And take the new cat in as well to have it examined and tested for ringworm, fleas, etc. Good luck. Hope your kitty is well soon!
