I acquired a six week old male ragdoll kitten last night who is eating sleeping, and using facilities perfectly except that about halfway up his tail all the way to the end is very stiff and the fur looks slicked down. I have bathed his tail twice now and no change. He did seem slightly agitated when I touched it while washing him. What could this be and should I take him to the vet immediately?
