NBC Selects Dogster.com to Build Awareness for its Annual National Dog Show

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - November 22, 2006
Dogster, Inc., architects of the wildly popular Dogster.com and Catster.com online communities, today announced a partnership with media alpha dog, NBC, to help build awareness for the network's annual Dog Show USA Presented by Purina, a "virtual" online dog show open to all dogs.

"We are thrilled to have been chosen as a partner by NBC for this event," said Dogster Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer Steven Reading. "Our passionate and dedicated members and their wonderful pets are a natural fit to help build awareness and enthusiasm for what promises to be a highly entertaining show."

As part of the partnership, Dogster will promote a sweepstakes on its homepage to encourage members to visit DOGSHOWUSA.COM. There, they can enter their own dog in the online dog show or vote in the Dogster.com Cutest Dog Category. The NBC contest runs through February, 2007. Members will also be able to opt-in to the Purina Petcentric newsletter, which contains pet care tips and other information.

Dogster will receive extensive publicity as a sponsor of the National Dog Show Presented by Purina, broadcast on NBC Thanksgiving Day (12 noon - 2PM in all dayparts), as well as during its re-broadcast on November 25 (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM) on the Bravo cable network. As part of this agreement, Dogster has been designated as sponsor of the wildly popular Terrier category within America's most watched dog show.

"NBC and our partners at Purina are delighted with our new alliance with Dogster," said Kevin Monaghan, vice president of business development at NBC Sports. "If you want to connect with dog owners, Dogster.com is a great place to reach a large and passionate audience," he said.

The partnership between NBC, Purina and Dogster boosts the visibility of Dogster with NBC's massive television audience, and allows Dogster's passionate community of pet owners to engage with the Purina brand in a safe, trusted environment.
